Founded in 1989, Sunpro has grown to be a dynamic and diverse emergency response, environmental remediation, and high voltage electrical contractor. Today, the privately-owned company operates from four offices in three states. In addition to our corporate office in North Canton, OH we have offices in Pittsburgh, PA, Elkhart, IN, and Schererville, IN. We employ approximately 100 professionals and support staff.
Sunpro offers a full range of services and customized solutions to both field and facility needs. We provide a broad range of design, management, construction and remediation services throughout the Midwest. Our environmental services include excavation & disposal, radioactive decontamination, waste management, groundwater treatment, asbestos services, in-situ / ex-situ bioremediation, building decontamination, and drum recovery just to name a few. Our emergency response teams are trained to handle a wide range of crises from chemical releases and tank truck rollovers to train derailments and maritime spills to in-plant releases and natural disaster response. Our extensive high voltage electrical services include transformer sales, transformer replacement, PCB remediation, annual maintenance, diagnostic testing, draining and decommissioning of PCB equipment, oil dehydration and reclamation and bushing / insulator descaling.

Environmental Remediation Sales
Sunpro is looking to fill an environmental remediation sales position. This position is responsible for client relationship development, for creating effective and professional presentations and bid responses to prospect, develop, and manage a client base of new and existing customers. The right candidate must have the ability to work closely with both clients and operations staff to ensure quality and customer satisfaction, as well as possess a working knowledge of environmental regulations including EPA, DOT, RCRA, TSCA, OSHA, FRA. This position will be based out of our North Canton regional office, though will involve some travel as needed to service key regional and national accounts.
Successful candidates will have the following competencies:
- Ability to function as a Team Player
- Proven ability to focus on clients needs, negotiate and close sales
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Computer proficiency.
- Experience with territory sales and account management
- Strong working knowledge of environmental, hazardous waste and remediation industries and associated regulations
- Technical problem solving ability
- Bachelors degree a plus
- Minimum 3-5+ years electrical sales or related experience
- Excellent driving record
